FROM PHOTO CAMPAIGN

TO BEAUTY MOVEMENT

Beyond Classically Beautiful began as an acclaimed photo campaign launched by Abi Ishola to celebrate the diverse beauty of Black women by challenging society’s beauty standards. After receiving rave reviews from several major media outlets, Ishola expanded the project, creating additional campaigns such as Body Noire and Girl Next Door. She also launched a website that covers beauty, style and identity. Articles from the website have been quoted by major media outlets such as Oprah Daily and the Chicago Tribune.
